SHIPPING POLICY

1. ORDER PROCESSING & HANDLING TIMES

  • Order Confirmation: We confirm orders within 24 hours (Monday–Friday).

  • Fulfillment Window: Orders are typically picked, packed, and ready for dispatch within 3-5 business days after order confirmation, subject to stock availability.

  • Weekend & Public Holidays: Orders placed on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next business day. Handling delays may occur during peak periods (e.g., sales promotions).

2. SHIPPING REGIONS & SURCHARGES

  • Domestic Shipping (South Africa): We ship nationwide, including major metropolitan areas (Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban) and outlying regions.

  • Remote Area Surcharges: Some couriers may charge extra for remote or outlying areas. Any applicable surcharge will be clearly displayed at checkout or communicated to you before finalizing your order.

  • International Shipping: Currently, we do not ship outside South Africa.

3. SHIPPING METHODS & RATES

  • Courier Partnerships: We collaborate with reputable couriers (e.g., The Courier Guy, Aramex) for reliable door-to-door service.

  • Shipping Fees:

    • A flat rate or calculated rate may apply, displayed at checkout.

    • Counter - Nearest Centre(through Post-Net; Pudo - Pudo)

    • To Door - To buyers address

    • Free Shipping Threshold: Occasionally offered during promotions or for orders above a certain amount.(over R 2,500)

  • Estimated Delivery Times:

    • Major metros often see delivery in 2–3 business days post-dispatch.

    • Outlying/rural areas may require 3–5 business days.

4. TOTAL DELIVERY TIME

  • Combined Estimate: 3–7 business days (1–2 days handling + 2–5 days transit).

  • Delays: While we strive to meet these estimates, factors such as high order volumes, courier disruptions, or weather events can cause unforeseen delays.

5. TRACKING YOUR ORDER

  • Tracking Details: Once dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking number via email or SMS. Use this number to monitor your parcel’s status.

  • Customer Support: For real-time updates or assistance, email us at support@grillperfected.co.za.

6. UNDELIVERABLE OR LOST PACKAGE

  • Incorrect Address: Please check your shipping address before confirming. If an item is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, we may charge a re-delivery fee.

  • Lost or Stolen Packages: If your package is marked delivered but cannot be located, contact us immediately. We will coordinate with the courier to investigate.

7. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

  • Inspection on Delivery: Inspect your order upon receipt. If items arrive damaged or defective, notify us within 48 hours at support@grillperfected.co.za, including photos of the damage. (copy of delivery note)

  • Resolution: We may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund in accordance with our Refund Policy and the requirements of the Consumer Protection Act.

8. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

  • Contact Us First: If you experience any shipping-related issues, please reach out to us directly at support@grillperfected.co.za. Most concerns can be quickly resolved through open communication.

  • Consumer Goods & Services Ombud: If we cannot reach an amicable resolution, you may escalate the matter to the Consumer Goods & Services Ombud (CGSO) for further assistance.

  • CPA Alignment: Nothing in this policy diminishes your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

9. CHANGES TO THIS SHIPPING POLICY

We may update this policy to reflect new shipping procedures or comply with changing regulations. Any revisions will be posted here with an updated Last updated date.

10. LEGAL DISCLAIMER

  • CPA Compliance: This Shipping Policy does not override any rights you have under the South African Consumer Protection Act. If there is any conflict between this policy and the CPA, the provisions of the CPA prevail.
